Bleeding A Radiator
If your radiator is cold at the top and hot at the bottom, or if your radiator is making some unusual noises then follow our how to guide below.
- Identify which radiators need bleeding
- Place the radiator key in the bleeding valve which is usually on either end of the radiator at the top
- Carefully turn the key anti clockwise until you can hear air coming out of the radiator
- Make sure you close the valve as soon as water comes out
- Repeat the above steps for other radiators
- Check water pressure and if it is below 1 bar please follow out how to guide on repressurising your boiler
